8 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Maintenance routines performable by the

OD-405, OD-410B, OD-411

and

OD-415

operator are listed in this section. More advanced routines (i.e.,

procedures involving repairs or adjustments within the instrument) should be
referred to our customer service.

8.1 Cleaning

Disconnect AC Power Cord from the instrument before cleaning.

Use a soft cloth dampened in a solution of mild detergent and water. Do

not spray any liquid into the unit.

Do not use chemicals or cleaners containing benzene, toluene, xylene,

acetone or other harsh chemicals.

8.2 Maintenance

8.2.1 Mains fuse replacement

The fuse holder is located on the rear panel close to the power cord

connector.

Before replacing the fuse you must disconnect the power cord.

By means of a suitable screwdriver to extract the fuse holder cover.

Replace the damaged fuse with another one of the following

characteristics:

5 x 20 mm and 1A T 250 V
