5.3.1 Adding, subtracting or multiplying signals
Procedure:
1. Activate both channels, CH1 and CH2 pressing.
2. Press the MATH key.
3. Press Operation repeatedly to select addition (+), subtraction (—) or
multiplication (x) ( OD-411/OD-415 ).
4. The math measurement result appears in the display.
5. To move the math result vertically, press position and use the
Variable [3] knob. The position will be displayed in Position .
6. To clear the math result from the display, press the Math key again.
5.3.2 FFT function (Fast Fourier Transform) (OD-405/OD-410B)
The FFT function is operated differently on the OD-405/OD-410B and
OD-411/OD-415 . Use the procedure below with the OD-405/OD-410B only.
Procedure:
1. Press Math [12] key.
2. Press F1 (Operation) repeatedly to select FFT .
3. Press F2 (Source) repeatedly to select the source channel.
4. Press F3 (Window) repeatedly to select the FFT windows type.
5. The FFT result appears. The horizontal scale changes from time to
frequency and the vertical scale from voltage to dB.
