3.11 Presetting of corrective values (offset mode)
For fine adjustment of the pan head position and the colour and gobo wheels, correction values can be
adjusted. For synchronous control of several V200SPOT via the same DMX addresses it is e. g. possible to
minimize deviations of the light beam direction.
1. Press the button MENU (2). The display (1) shows
(Address). Never wait for more than 8 seconds to
press the next button, otherwise the adjusting procedure will be stopped.
2. Keep the button ENTER (4) pressed for approx. 5 seconds until the display changes to . The pan head
goes to the vertical position (0°) and the light beam is extinguished.
3. Press the button ENTER again. The shutter releases the light beam and flashes in the display.
4. If a horizontal beam direction is more suitable for a further adjustment, press the button ENTER (several times).
5. Press the button MENU and select the required function with the button DOWN or UP (3):
PAN Offset:
fine readjustment for panning the pan head
. . .
TILT Offset:
fine readjustment for tilting the pan head
. . .
Offset Dimmer
fine readjustment of the dimmer
. . .
GOBO wheel Offset
readjustment of the rotary angle for the gobo wheel
. . .
COLOUR wheel Offset
readjustment of the rotary angle for the colour wheel
. . .
6. Activate the function with the button ENTER.
7. Make the readjustment with the button DOWN/UP.
8. To memorize, press the button ENTER. Then it is possible to select another readjustment function with
the button DOWN/UP.
9. Approx. 8 s after pressing the last button the adjusting menu is automatically exited.
3.12 Self-test
Three programmes are available for the self-test of the unit. Press the button MENU (2) so many times until
the desired test programme is shown in the display (1):
short test: to start press the button ENTER (4). During the test run, flashes in the display. At the
end of the test (Finish) is shortly indicated, then the unit switches back to the previous operating mode.
or : continuous test with successive display of all colours and all gobos. For both test pro-
grammes 12 different motion se quences can be selected and the motion speed can be changed.
1. To start press the button ENTER. During the test run
or flashes in the display.
2. To change the motion sequence or the motion speed, press the button ENTER again. The display shows
(Move).
3. For only changing the speed continue with operating step. To change the motion sequence, press the but-
ton ENTER again. The display shows the number of the present motion sequence ( ... ). Change
the number with the button DOWN/UP and start the selected motion sequence with the button ENTER.
4. Switch from to (Move Speed) with the button DOWN/UP and press the button ENTER. The
display shows the present speed between 0 (very slow) and 255 (fast). Change the value with the button
DOWN/UP and activate the selected speed with the button ENTER.
5. To stop the self-test, press the button menu. The unit switches to the previous operating mode after 8 sec.
