JOKER EVOLUTION 30
Loosen the bolt “B” (4mm Allen key) and the two nuts “D”
(13mm spanner) on the inner side of the clamp “K”.
Loosen the bolt and nut “A” “A
1
” (4mm Allen key and 10mm
spanner) and the nut “B
1
” (10mm spanner) (figure 47).
Carry out the above mentioned steps for each side before.
Slide the frame forward or backward through the clamps “K” to
the new setting (figure 47)
A distance “C” equal to 3.5 cm gives a Prudential setting,
while “C” equal to 5 gives a Standard setting.
Once reached the desired setting, tighten the nuts “D”, the bolt
“B” and the headless bolt “G” on each clamp “K”.
Slide the support “S” (figure 47) until the hole at the back of the
mudguard is aligned to that of the clamp “K”, then fix the
mudguard with the bolt “V”.
Finally tighten the bolt and nut
“A” “A
1
” and the nut “B
1
” (figure
47)
It is not necessary to adjust the brake.
Carry out the same adjustment for both sides making
sure that the distance “C” is the same.
After adjustment, carefully replace all screws and
nuts and tighten them.
The adjustment of the rear wheels can cause a change
to the angle of the seat. If this occurs it is extremely
important to adjust the front wheel support by
following the instructions in chapter 6.6 “Front
wheels height and angle adjustment”.
As a general rule, moving the frame through its
supports determines a change in the wheelchair
setting. If the frame is moved backwards, the distance
“C” (see figure 46) increases and the setting becomes
more “Active” (the wheelchair tips back more easily).
Moving the frame frontward, the setting becomes
more “Prudential”(the wheelchair tips back with more
difficulty)
