4. SETTING THE TIME

The switching on and off times are simply programmed by 

carefully pulling out the segments on the rotary dial at the 

time the connected device must switch off. The device will 

start to operate at the times the segments are left inward.

If you want to switch on your device from 17.00 to 22.00 

hours, simply leave ALL rotary dials from the numbers 17 

until 22 inwards.

Now set the time switch to the correct time:

•  Turn the dial to the right until the arrow matches the cur-

rent time.

•  Immediately plug the time switch  into the plug socket.

•  ATTENTION 

: Set the switch in programming mode, other-

wise your settings will not work. If the switch is set on “I”, 

current is permantly switched on.

•  Repeat this procedure each time the time switch has 

been removed from the plug socket.

•  Insert the plug of the device to be activated  in the plug 

socket part of the time switch and plug the time switch in 

the plug socket.

•  If the connected appliance has an “on-off” switch make 

sure this is “on”.

•  Check that the time switch is set to the correct time. 

•  Now switch the switch on the top of the time switch to 

the “clock”. If this switch is set to “І” the appliance will 

continuously work and will not switch off at the set times.

•  Keep away from children.

•  This timer is also fit for outdoor use.

•  Resistive appliances are appliances that consume 

the same current quantity for the whole duration. 

E.g. Lights.

•  Inductive appliances, on the other hand, consume 

much more current at the start than in normal 

operation. This includes coffee-makers, boilers, 

heating appliances, etc.

If the inductive appliance exceeds the inductive 

capacity of the time switch the appliance may not 

be connected to it. If it is the switching contact in 

the time switch will  prematurely fail and this falls 

outside the guarantee conditions

•  The importer accepts no responsibility for damage claims 

with respect to objects or persons that result from incor-

rect use or non-compliance with the safety instructions. 

All damage claims in such cases will be declared null and 

void.

•  The timer must be connected to a mains voltage of 230V, 

max. fusing 16A

•  The guarantee period for this product amounts to 2 years 

and commences on the date of purchase. During this 

guarantee period Eltra will repair any defects attributable 

to material or production faults. ELTRA may choose to 

either repair or replace a defective appliance.

•  Take any defective appliance together with the original 

receipt back to the shop where the appliance was sold. 

Always add a note with a description of the problem.

•  Eltra can under no circumstances whatsoever be held 

responsible for damage of whatever nature if the appli-

ance was not correctly installed according to the specified 

installation instructions, nor for damage as a result of 

unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, light-

ening strike, etc. All such resulting costs are consequently 

at the expense of the buyer and are not covered by the 

guarantee conditions.

The product complies with the applicable European 

directives.

The product should not be mixed with general household 

waste. Please inform yourself about how electrical and 

electronic products in your region are separated and col-

lected.
