4.10 Subprogram A-9 — change of device firmware

Table 20: Actions and their codes

Note!

Resetting the settings is understood as:

restoring the default value in case of global setting

deletion of field value in case of local value

KDC1905  cassette  in  both  versions  enables  to  change  the  on-board  software.  Batch  files  can  be  downloaded  from
the manufacturer’s website. Downloaded file should be copied to the SD memory card, which should be inserted into
the device.

Software change procedure:

enter subprogram A-9

cassette will display the current software version and then display a message

when a message

 is displayed, select the key

cassette will display a message

enter  a  file  name  (without  extension  .bie.  The  cassette  enables  to  load  only  those  files  that  include  only

digits). Confirm the name with button

during firmware loading the cassette  will display successive program addresses.  The  cassette  will reset  after

the firmware upload is finished.

4.11 Subprogram A-0 – restoring default settings and deleting IDs

This  subprogram  is  used  to  reset  the  system  settings.  After  entering  the  subprogram,  the  cassette  will  display  a

message

. Then enter the code of required operation (see table 20). After entering the action code, the

cassette  will  display

and  wait  for  the  installer  code.  After  entering  the  installer  code,  the  selected

settings will be reset to zero.

Note!

To reset the settings, it is necessary to set your own installer code. Default code  “0000” does not enable

to delete parameters.

The installer code is not deleted.

Function 99 (deleting A-1 program entries) requires the installer code. After authorization, the cassette will

display

– enter the number of premises from which IDs are to be deleted and confirm with key
