Use terminal session software such as Tera Term to open a console session
with the NAC 800. Use the following settings:
•
Baud rate = 9600
•
Bits = 8
•
Stop rate = 1
•
Parity = None
•
Flow control = None
•
For the Windows Terminal program, disable (uncheck) the “Use
Function, Arrow, and Ctrl Keys for Windows” option.
•
For the Hilgraeve HyperTerminal program, select the “Terminal keys”
option for the “Function, arrow, and ctrl keys act as” parameter.

When prompted for your username, enter
admin
.
5.
When prompted, enter your password (default,
procurve
).
You should now see the Application Main Menu.
