Pesto
Ingredients:
1 cup (237 ml) fresh basil leaves
1/4 cup (59 ml) pine nuts
1 garlic clove
1/4 cup (59 ml) olive oil
1/4 cup (59 ml) grated Parmesan cheese
Dash of salt
Directions:
Place basil, pine nuts and garlic in food processor bowl.
Process until almost a puree. Add oil, Parmesan cheese
and salt. Process until mixture is well blended. Toss with hot
pasta, spread on grilled chicken, or use as a sandwich spread.
Makes:
2/3 cup (158 ml)
How to Clean
1.
Unplug.
2.
Wash cover, bowl, spatula, bowl size adjuster, and blade in
hot, soapy water.
Blade is sharp; handle carefully.
Rinse
and dry. The cover, bowl, spatula, bowl size adjuster, and
blade may also be washed in top rack of dishwasher.

Reassemble for safe storage.
4.
To clean the base, wipe with a damp cloth. Do not use
abrasive cleaners. Do not immerse base in water.
