DMX CONNECTIONS.
Connect the included XLR/DMX cable to the output on the DMX controller, the other end to the signal input "DMX
IN", this way you can connect several devices in one chain. The cable should be a two-wire shielded cable with
XLR connectors and 110Ohm impedance. When connecting devices, check the diagram below. You can attach a
DMX terminator to the last device in the chain to reduce signal interference.
In installations where long cables are used that are susceptible to electrical noise, use splitters and boosters and
DMX terminators. It helps prevent signal distortion. DMX terminator is an XLR plug with a3 resistor soldered in
between pins 2 and 3, which is placed in the DMX output of the last device in the chain. Please refer to the
illustrations below.
