To save the entire configuration of a HART® instrument connected to the
calibrator, the
Document Device
function of the
DEVICE
menu can be used. This
function is useful when you want to save the configuration of an instrument to later
download to another instrument of the same model, or to back up the settings.
Press
DEVICE> DOCUMENT DEVICE
, fill in the File Name field with a name for
the configuration and press
Save Device Config
. Optionally, you can note a description
of the configuration in the
Notes
field.
