Gate
噪音门
Noisegatingistheprocessofremovingunwantedsoundsfromyouraudioby
cutting(orattenuating)all signalsbelowasetthreshold.Thegatewill remain
“open”aslongasthesignalislouderthanthesetthreshold.Noisegateswere
originallydesignedtohelpeliminateextraneousnoiseandunwantedartifacts
fromarecording,suchashiss,rumble,ortransientsfromotherinstrumentsin
theroom.Sincehissandnoisearenotasloudastheintendedaudiosource
(You!),aproperlysetgatewill onlyallowtheintendedsoundtopassthrough;
thevolumeofeverythingelseislowered.Notonlywillthisstripawayunwanted
artifacts, it will also add definition and clarity to the desired sound.
Choose between Low, Moderate, and High. Low will provide
the least amount of gating,High will provide the most.
