SIZING OF THE DOOR LEAVES

For the dimensioning of the door leaves, we must take into account the following

aspects:

a) How to calculate leaf size:

Measure the span width, divide this value by the number of leaves you want, the

result will be the width size of each leaf. Moving leaves will be 50 mm wider in

width than fixed leaves.

b) How to calculate the weight of the doors:

To calculate the weight of the leaves, proceed as follows:

Find the square area of the leaf, multiplying height x width and the result multiply

by 25 Kg which is the weight of the m² of the 10 mm² glass. Then you will have

the weight of the leaf, multiply it by 2 and you will have the total weight of the two

leaves.

c) The height of the movable leaf is the height of the right foot plus 45 mm, where

the glass will be inside the rail. Ask to drill the hole according to the template.
