DRILLING GLASS
All measurements below are in millimeters.
INSTALLATION OF THE LOCK
When there is a need for a lock on the door, which is not automatic, the finishing
profile must be cut to fit and/or perforate it (depending on the type of lock).
We recommend as an automatic lock in cases of access control, the Electromagnetic
Lock (optional) sold separately.
Note:
To purchase Bona Electromagnetic Lock, consult your PPA Distributor or
Dealer.
When the door is not electronically closed, provide glass cut and
holes for manual locks.
RAIL INSTALLATION
Note:
Before fixing the rail, it is advisable to remove the central motor and the belt,
leaving only the fixing screws for them. Leave the pulleys on the rail because if it is
installed inside the span, you will not be able to place them later.
The location where the rail will be installed must follow the tips at the beginning
of the Technical Manual (Procedures before installation). Follow the steps below:
1 Step:
Drilling the rail: Drill a hole in the middle of the rail, then drill holes at the
ends 150 mm inward and then divide into equal parts according to weight. Before
drilling the rail, check where the fixing will be (wall or inside the span) in order to
drill holes in the rail.
Note:
use screws according to the weight of the operator.
2 Step:
To fix the rail to the wall, measure the mobile leaf minus 45mm and fix the
rail.
3 Step:
Make marks on the wall to indicate the height of the base of the rail;
4 Step:
Place the rail level to these indications and mark the rail holes on the wall.
5 Step:
After marking the location of the holes, drill the hole according to the
bushing to be used. If fixing in aluminum, wood or iron, use a suitable screw.
6 Step:
Place the bushings in the holes if it's masonry.
Note:
we recommend using fixing screws according to the weight of the leafs and
the type of beam to which the automation rail will be fixed.
