TROUBLE SHOOTING
The follow ing is a list of sm all problem s w hich can
o ccur w hen using t he w alk-b ehind t ract o r and
w hich can b e solved b y t he user.

Make t he follow ing checks in t he ord er g iven:
The fuel t ank should b e at least half-full.
The fuel t ap should b e op en.
The choke should be set on OPEN (w hen engine
is cold ) .
Fuel m ust reach t he carb uret or.

The m esh filt er at t he ent rance t o t he carburet or
inp ut m ust b e clean.
The carb uret or jet s m ust b e clean. To check,
screw t hem out and if t hey are dirt y, clean w it h
a b last of air.
The g ears d o not eng ag e.
Regulat e t he clut ch by screw ing t he adjust m ent
screw unt il t he clut ch has a g ood clearance, 5-
6 m m . Take care not t o elim inat e all t he p lay ,
as t he cab le m ust never b e t oo t ig ht .

t he cut t er bar and prevent sm all st ones w edging
b et w een fing ers and b lad es.
Cut g rass should fall in front inst ead of b eing
eject ed at t he sides.
If t he grass is very t hick and t here are discharge
problem s, rem ove t he w indrow form ing guides.
