6. Make sure the throttle lever is in the OFF position and the air source is
removed from the tool before performing any inspection, maintenance,
or cleaning.
7. Before each use: Check the general condition of the tool. Check for
misalignment or binding of moving parts, cracked or broken parts,
damaged hoses, and any other conditions that may affect the safe
operation of the tool. If abnormal noise or vibration occurs, have the
problem corrected before further use. Do not use damaged equipment.
8. Daily maintenance: Use a soft, dry cloth to remove all dirt, grease, and
debris from the exterior of the tool. Do not use solvents to clean the tool.
9. When servicing, use only identical replacement parts. Use accessories
that are only intended for use with this tool. Replace damaged
parts immediately.
10. If repairs are required, bring your tool to an authorized service center.
11. Inspect the tool components periodically. Repair or replace damaged or
worn components. Only use identical replacement parts when servicing.
12. Follow instructions for lubricating and changing accessories.
13. Only use accessories intended for use with this tool.
14. Keep the tool handles clean, dry and free from oil/grease at all times.
15. Maintain the tool’s labels and name plates. These carry important information.
