16. Position the bed frame so the beams are outside of the leg assemblies.
Lower until the bed frame is resting on the pins.
17. Secure the pump assembly with bolts (#40) and washers (#9). The
bolts are inserted through the post and into screw holes in the pump’s
mounting frame.
18. Connect the hydraulic hose fitting (#29) to the connection nut on the cylinder.
19. Insert bolt (#32) into the bolt hole opening on the right post above the
supports (#38). Secure the bolt with a washer (#15) and nut (#33) on the
inside of the post.
20. Slide the foot pedal’s (#27) bolt hole onto the bolt. Ensure the pedal is
face-up. Secure with a washer (#15) and nut (#33).
21. Secure the eyelet bolt (#42) to the post with nut (#41), spring (#35) to
hook the foot pedal and eyelet bolt (#42)
22. Secure the foot pedal’s support (#31) to the bracket on the foot pedal with
a pin (#23) and R-pin (#34).
23. Secure the other end of the support to the bracket on the underside of the
handle socket with a pin (#23) and R-pin (#34).
24. Insert the handle (#21) to the handle socket when using it instead of the
foot pump.
25. Check all bolts and nuts and tighten if necessary.
SHOP PRESS PERMANENT MOUNT
The shop press can be permanently mounted to the floor. Drill 13/16 in (20 mm)
holes into the base sections (#20) and then anchor the shop press to the floor
(anchor screws not included).
OPERATION
BEFORE FIRST USE
Before the first use, check for proper hydraulic oil level in the system. Then
thoroughly test the hydraulic ram for proper operation prior to its actual use.
