Appareil de décapage par projection de bicarbonate de soude portatif, 15 lb

6.  Wrap the threads of the bushing (13) with thread sealer tape and screw it into the media

regulator (15).

7.  Insert the pickup tube (11) through the O-ring (12), bushing (13), and then into the storage

tank (1). Screw the hex nut (2) tightly on the storage tank (1).

8.  Unpack the regulator (5), wrap the threads of the pressure gauge (6) and assemble the

regulator (5) and pressure gauge (6).

9.  Attach the regulator (5) to the storage tank (1) by securing the bracket (9) to the storage tank

(1) using the socket head cap screws (8).

10.  Wrap the threads of the air input On/Off valve (4) and screw it into the left side of the

regulator (5).

11.  Wrap the threads of the male coupler (3) and screw it into the air input On/Off valve (4).

12.  Wrap the threads of the quick disconnect fitting (7) and screw it into the right side of the

regulator (5).

13.  Attach both ends of the air hose (10) to the quick disconnect fitting (7 & 14).

14.  Wrap the threads of the media outlet hose (19) and attach it to the On/Off valve (18). The

assembly is now finished.

operation

CAUTION! Make sure that the On/Off valve M/F 1/4 in. (18) is in the OFF position before connecting

the air source.

1.  Attach the male coupler from the air source hose to the male coupler (3) on the blaster

before using the blaster. Turn on the air supply.

2.  Turn the knob on top of the regulator (5) clockwise to adjust the output air pressure at low

level. Turn on the air input On/Off valve (4) and turn the knob on top of the regulator (5)

counter-clockwise to adjust the output air pressure to 90 PSI. Do not adjust the pressure

higher than 100 PSI.

3.  Turn on the On/Off valve (18) and spray the media onto the work piece.

4.  Turn the media flow control knob (16) to adjust the media flow rate. Turning left decreases

the flow rate and turning right to increase the flow rate.

refilling the storAge tAnk

CAUTION! Make sure that the tank is not pressurized before removing the plug.

1.  Unscrew the plug (24) and remove the combination seal gasket (23).

2.  Pour soda into the storage tank through the abrasive refilling port (22) using a funnel.

Do not overfill.

3.  Reinstall the combination seal gasket and the plug.

maintenance

NOTE:

Disconnect the air source and discharge any residual air pressure in the airline before

performing any maintenance.

1.  The nozzle will wear away over time, causing the internal diameter to widen and disperse

the media over a larger area, reducing the tool’s efficiency. The compressor will also need

to work harder to maintain the pressure. Check the ceramic nozzle at regular intervals and

replace as appropriate.
