Acceleration Training™ exercise has many uses if the goal is to increase performance. In our academies and
program design, we apply the same pyramid most elite trainers use in coaching their star athletes. The principle
is the same, but the tool is different.
MObILITy AND MOVEMENT PREPARATION
The Power Plate
®
vibrations activate and prepare the neuromuscular system for action, and warm up the system by
increasing circulation. Flexibility, mobility and range of motion can be increased as well. Because the Power Plate

pro5 AIRdaptive™ High Performance unit is easily transportable, it can now be set up right along the playing field. This
way players can warm up before they come onto the field and be totally prepared to perform at the highest level.
COORDINATION
Performing functional movements on the Power Plate
®
pro5 AIRdaptive™ High Performance unit can improve
coordination and movement patterns. The vibrations stimulate the neuromuscular system at such high speeds that
almost all muscle fibers are reflexively involved and the proprioceptive system is strongly stimulated. This way, new
movements can be learned quicker, and wrong patterns can be overruled by the correct movements more easily.

Very often, athletes are not willing to spend a lot of time on this part of their training as they fail to see the importance.

equipment can save valuable time, because the high intensity vibrations can stimulate and improve

The effects of Power Plate

training are determined by the rules of the overload principle. Over time, load and ‘stress’
have to be overcome by the system, and if such exertion is combined with appropriate resting times, adaptation will
