the washer (#6) and nut (#7). Tighten the nut. Rotate the handle a few
times to ensure it is functioning correctly.
3.
Mount the base (#9) on a structure capable of withstanding the weight of
the hose reel and air hose. Use the base as a template for marking the
screw locations.
4.
Mount the air hose reel using 4 washers and 4 screws suitable for the
structural material.
5.
Connect the swivel valve (#18) to the compressor’s air hose.
a.
Wrap the external threads of the air hose. Wrap tape in a clockwise
direction so it will not unravel.
b. Do not tape all the threads. Leave several leading threads unwrapped
for easier alignment.
c.
Screw the air supply hose into the swivel valve (#18) and tighten with
a wrench until snug. Use a second wrench on the swivel valve to hold
it still to prevent damage from twisting.
6. Wrap the air hose threads with sealant tape, as in step 5 a and b. Screw
the hose into the outlet valve (#15).
7.
Wrap the air hose over the reel (#14) end and guide it on by hand as you
rotate the handle. Do not allow the air hose to cross-wrap.
