System Overview
1.1 Introduction
Powell Inc., a world-leading innovator in the Industrial PC (IPC) market and a
member of the Intel
®
Communications Alliance, has launched its new WADE-8075
series in response to market demand for a simplified embedded system board (ESB)
that combines a smaller footprint, lower power consumption, robust computing
power and with longevity support.
Built with Intel’s latest ICH8M chipset, WADE-8075 series take advantage of the
Intel
®
Atom™ single (N455) or dual-core (D525) processors.
WADE-8075/WADE-8076 also features 24-bit LVDS display, fan less design and
built-in DC 12V input.
WADE-8075 and WADE-8076’s ability to drive two displays simultaneously makes
them particularly suitable for lottery and gaming applications. They are also ideal
for applications such as point-of-sale (POS), medical, digital signage, kiosks and
surveillance security monitoring.
