1.1 Introduction
The PEB-7431VL is a low power Micro ATX industrial motherboard that equips with
low-power STPC Atlas processor, VGA, and single PCI-bus Ethernet interfaces.
This model is standard micro ATX main board with extensibility. There are 3 ISA
slots and 1 ISA or PCI (shared) slots, which are perfect for adding extra devices to
the system. For an embedded system, Watch Dog Timer is also one standard feature.
It helps to free the system from undesired hanging without human interface. This is
unique for many Embedded System applications.
Other impressive features include a Compact Flash socket for type I/ II Compact
Flash storage card, four serial ports, one parallel port, and two 168-pin DIMM socket
allowing for up to 128MB of SDRAM to be installed.
