1.
Route the vehicle cable through the lower
opening on the wall mount, position the bottom
of the control unit on the locking tab and engage
it by pushing it to the rear.
2.
Guide the supply cable through the upper
opening on the wall mount and engage the
locking ring by moving it to the left.
3.
Insert the vehicle plug in the connector fastener.
Cleaning
Check the charger for damage and soiling at regular
intervals and clean it if necessary.
Disposal
Electrical/electronic devices must be handed in at
a collection point or waste management facility.

Do not throw electrical/electronic devices in with
household waste.
e
Dispose of electrical/electronic devices in
accordance with the applicable environmental
protection regulations.

Wall Mount
Selecting the installation location
The wall mount is designed for indoor and outdoor
installation.
The following criteria must be considered when
selecting a suitable installation location:
– Install the electrical socket and wall mount
preferably in a covered area protected against
direct sunlight and rain (e.g. in a garage).
– Do not spray the wall mount directly with water
(e.g. high-pressure cleaning equipment or garden
hoses).
– Do not install the wall mount under suspended or
hanging objects.
– Do not install the wall mount in stables, livestock
buildings or locations where ammonia gases
occur. Do not operate the charger in such
locations.
– Install the wall mount on a smooth surface.
DANGER
Electric shock, fire
Risk of serious or fatal injury due to fire or electric
shock.

Never immerse the charger or plugs in water or
spray them directly with water (e.g. high-pres-
sure cleaning equipment or garden hoses).

Only clean the charger when the control unit has
been fully disconnected from the mains supply
and from the vehicle. Use a dry cloth for cleaning.
DANGER
Electric shock, fire
Improper use of the charger or non-compliance with
the safety instructions may result in short circuits,
electric shocks, explosions, fire or burns.

Do not install the wall mount in potentially explo-
sive atmospheres.
e
To reduce the risk of explosion – particularly in
garages – make sure that the control unit is
located at least 50 cm above the floor during
charging.
e
Observe the locally applicable electrical installa-
tion regulations, fire protection measures,
accident prevention regulations and escape
routes.
