8.1. Electrolysis failures

Lack of salt
Chlorine production is degraded or almost not existing.
Verify salt rate in the pool with your measuring kit. It has to be higher than 3
kg/m

and ideally 5.
Cell problem
Chlorine production is degraded or almost not existing.
1/ Verify that cell is not scaly.
2/ Verify that nuts on the terminals of the cell are well tightened and not
oxidized.
3/ Most of the time this code indicates that cell is used, totally scaly, and it
can produce chlorine anymore. Contact your local retailer to replace it.
