4.3. pH probe and injection circuit installation
Install the first saddle right in the middle of the horizontal pipe (minimum length 40cm). Place the the
thread on the top. Mark and drill the pipe. With Teflon screw the probe holder on the saddle.
Remove the pH probe rubber protection and install it on the probe holder. Make sure it’s touching the
bottom of the pipe.
Connect the pH probe connector (BNC connector on the device). Make sure the cable is as far as
possible of any other electrical wire to avoid electromagnetic perturbations that could cause wrong
measures.
Place the second saddle after the previous one. Put the thread head down. Mark and drill the pipe.
With Teflon, screw the injection connector. This injection connector must be located as close as
possible from the buzzard of expulsion.
Using a piece of tubing, plug the suction strainer on pH pump. Make sure you plugged it on the
aspiration arrow.
Connect the pH pump exit to the injection connector with the remaining piece of tubing.
4.4. Connection to a pool cover (depends on model / optional cable)
In the controller of the pool cover, locate the limit switch (a dry contact, without any connection).
Some pool cover manufacturers specifically identify this switch for salt chlorinator control.
Connect with an electric cable (2 conductors) the dry switch of the pool cover in the connection box;
Optional cable allows the connecting of the device to the controller box of the pool cover.
Do not
hesitate to get yourselves the cable (ref OPT07POO001) with your professional.
Plug the connector under the device on the yellow RCA jack.
