Appendix B Trouble shootings
B.1 Overheat in operation
1) The power supply is too low. If the voltage is less than 170V, please try to improve the power
supply.
2) If the kit runs for a long time or the ventilation doesn’t work well, it is suggested turning off kit
for 10 minutes.
B.2 The power indicator doesn’t work.
1) Check if the power fuse is burned. Note: The fuse is 250V/ 5A.
2) Check if there is no electricity in power supply.
3) If the fan works well, it might be the power indicator broken.
B.3 Can not connect with computer
The computer connecting with PF3000 must install an Ethernet card 100MBytes / s. If it can’t work
online, please check following points:
1) Check the Ethernet connection.
2) Check the power supply is on.
3) Check the IP address of computer. The computer IP address should be set as 192.168.1.XXX.
XXX should not be 255, 0, 1 or 133.
4) Trun off the PF3000 local software firstly before making online test with computer. Otherwise,
the external computer can’t communicate with PF3000 sucessfully.
