3 First Steps
ATTENTION!
Damage to the hardware caused by plugging in/unplugging the plug
during operation!
The hardware can be damaged if the circular connection or the Sub-D
connection between the controller and the sensor head is plugged in or
unplugged while the instrument is switched on.
» Only plug in and unplug the connection if the instrument is switched off.

5. Plug the motor cable into the

circular connection on the back of
the controller and into the
MOTOR
circular connection on the bottom of the
sensor head.
INFORMATION
The circular connections of the motor cable and on the devices are each
marked with arrows. During assembly, the arrows must point directly at each
other.

6. Close the union nut to secure the connection.
7. Plug the control cable into the
CONTROL
Sub-D connection on the back of
the controller and into the
CONTROL
Sub-D connection on the bottom of
the sensor head until you can feel it has clicked into place.

Connecting the Mains Cables
Connect all mains cables of the measurement system to the same earthed
wall outlet to avoid ground loops. Proceed as follows:
1. Connect up all components with the supplied mains cables to the multiple
socket.
2. Use the mains cable to connect up the multiple socket to an earthed wall
outlet.
