Symptom

Corrective Action
The gateway I-net indicator is not
lit.
The SoundPoint IP 200W phone
has no power.
Verify Ethernet cable is connected:
•
Check that the Ethernet cable
between the WAN port on the
gateway and the LAN port on your
modem or router is connected
properly.
The Ethernet connection from
the gateway is broken.
Verify the modem or router is connected:
•
Check that the batteries are inserted
with the plus and minus ends facing
the correct way. Press and hold the
End Call
key.
Verify the gateway can retrieve an IP
address:
•
In
Network settings
, check that the
IP mode corresponds to the IP mode
of your Internet connection.
