If storing the car seat when not in use, do so in the original packaging and avoid placing
heavy objects on it.

Ensure no part of the seat or seat belt is trapped in the passenger door or a folding seat.
If your car has a folding rear seat ensure that it is correctly latched and in its upright position.

The safety belt buckle is not fully tamperproof and therefore your child should be
persuaded never to play with it.
23.
Periodically check that your child has not unfastened the car seat buckle.
