INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR
DYNOMAX DUAL KIT: 19389
2004 Dodge Durango w/4.7L, 5.7L V8 Engines,
2WD/4WD

NOTE: Read all instructions before starting any work.
1. Remove the OE front muffler assembly and the OE rear resonator assembly.
To assist in removal, it is recommended that the rubber hanger isolators be
lubricated with WD-40 or a similar product.
2. Install DynoMax front pipe
41801
to the outlet of the converter/y-pipe assembly.
The rod hanger should slip into the the rubber isolator located off the passenger
side frame rail. Finger tighten the supplied 2
³⁄₄
" U-Bolt clamp onto the inlet of
this pipe.
3. Install DynoMax muffler
17665
onto the outlet end of pipe 41801. The outlet
end of the muffler is marked with the word ‘OUTLET’. The muffler body should
lie flat when properly installed with the muffler inlet connection closes to the
drive shaft. Finger tighten a 3" U-Bolt clamp onto the muffler inlet connection.
(If equipped, attach the OE electrical grounding strap nut to one of the muffler
clamp u-bolt ends when performing the final tightening sequence. See step 6.)
4. Install rear extension pipe

into the outlet of the muffler. Position the two
rod hangers into the proper rubber isolators above the rear of the muffler. The
two rod hangers should point toward the rear of the vehicle when properly
installed. Finger tighten a 3" U-Bolt clamp onto the muffler outlet connection
to this pipe.
5. Install tail pipe

onto the outlet of pipe 52225. Slide the tail pipe rod
hanger into the two rubber isolators at the rear of vehicle.
6. Beginning from the inlet end, position all components and tighten clamps.
