Step 2

To update the GW-AP54SAG firmware, first download the firmware from the dis-

tributor’s web site to your local disk, and then from the above screen enter the path and file-
name of the firmware file (or click

Browse

to locate the firmware file). Next, Click the

Up-

grade

button to start.

The new firmware will begin being loaded to your GW-AP54SAG. After a message appears
telling you that the operation is completed, you need to reset the system to have the new

firmware take effect.

Note: It is recommended that you do not upgrade your GW-AP54SAG unless the new firmware contains

a new feature that you want or if it contains a fix to a problem that you’ve encountered.

How to Save or Restore Configuration Changes

You can save system configuration settings to a file, and later download it back to the GW-
AP54SAG by following the steps below.
