Appendix B: Use Planet Smart Discovery to find AP
To easily discover the WAP-200N/WBS-200N in your Ethernet environment, the Planet Smart Discovery Utility is
an ideal solution. The utility is available at:
http://www.planet.com.tw/en/product/images/48590/Planet_Utility.zip
The following instructions will guide you to how to use the Planet Smart Discovery Utility.
Step 1
. Download the
Planet Smart Discovery Utility
in administrator PC.
Step 2
. Execute this utility.
Step 3
. Click the
“Refresh”
button as shown below to update the list of the currently connected devices.

Step 4.
Select the AP from the list and then click the
“Connect to Device”
button to link to the Web
Management Configuration page.
The fields in white background can be modified directly, and then you can apply the new
setting by clicking the “
Update Device
” button.
