Locating email settings from your email client
Windows Live Mail
1. Select the
Accounts
tab and then click the
Properties
button.
2. The
General
tab shows the email address.
3. Select the
Servers
tab to find the
Outgoing mail
(SMTP) and
Account
Name
(User Name) details.
4. Select the
Advanced
tab to find the
Outgoing server
(SMTP) port number
and whether SSL is enabled.
Microsoft Outlook 2007
1. Select the
Tools
menu and then
Account Settings
.
2. Under the
Email
tab, select the required account and click
Change
from the
menu bar.
3. From the Internet email settings screen, find the
Outgoing mail server
(SMTP),
User name
and
Email address
.
4. Click the
More Settings
button.
5. Select the
Advanced
tab to find the
Outgoing server
(SMTP) port number
and whether SSL is enabled.
