Data logger software
From this menu you will be able to do the following:

Set up the data logger for a new session.
·
Download data from a logger that has been recording.
·
View previously saved data.
·
Check the status of the logger.
To communicate with the logger, remove it from the SL3 and remove the translucent cap;
see
Removing the data logger . You can then plug it directly into a free USB port on
your computer. Alternatively, if you have USB Type A male to USB Type A female cable,
you can leave the data logger connected to the SL3.
This manual contains information on operating the key features of the software. Further
information can be found by selecting
Help > Help Topics
from the menu bar.
3.3.1
Setting up the data logger
1. Click on the set up icon.
2. From the set up page, give the logger a name.
3. Select the required temperature units and select the thermocouple type. For the SL3
this must be T-Type.
4. Select the logging period. Selecting a short logging period will reduce the total time
that can stored in the logger. The total time is shown in brackets.
