6. Environmental protection
6.1 Environmental protection: disposal
❖
Appliances bearing this symbol «
» must not be disposed of together with
household waste throughout the EU. To prevent potential damage to the
environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal and to promote
the sustainable reuse of material resources, responsibly supply the appliance to a
recycling centre.
6.2 Environmental protection: energy saving
❖
Try to load the appliance up to its particular maximum capacity. Little loads are
uneconomical.
❖
Modern detergents allow washing at lower washing temperatures (e.g. 20 °C). Use
appropriate temperature settings to save energy.
❖
To save energy during drying, select the highest possible spin speed for the
respective washing programme.
❖
Do not dry your clothes too long. This avoids creases and saves energy.
❖
Always select a drying programme according to the type of laundry and the
required drying level required.
❖
Ensure that the installation room is well ventilated.
