12 MAINTENANCE
After a period of non-using longer than 30 days, especially in the case of transferring fresh or salty
water, it is necessary to run fresh water through the pump.
Upon re-use run the pump some seconds and then tighten the screws again.
Check under maximum operating pressure conditions that the motor values are within label speci-
fication.
Check every month the pump chamber and keep clean from any debris.
Check every month that electrical wiring is in good condition.
Motor brushes have to be replaced every 1000 hours.
For any pump repair of internal components the intervention of specialised service is always rec-
ommended. Only use original Nala Motors s.r.l. spare parts.
13 WARRANTY
A 24 months warranty covering defects in material and construction is supplied with all PIUSI
S.p.A. products.
Warranty starts with original purchase date and limited only to repair work or to replacement of
the product when it is not possible to repair it.
Such operations shall be carried out exclusively at the PIUSI S.p.A. factory.
A PIUSI S.p.A. returned goods authorization is required. Return merchandise will not be accepted
for repair, or replacement without prior approval.
Any product for which intervention under warranty is required shall reach PIUSI S.p.A. by pre-paid
transport at this address:

Merchandise returned without authorization or pre-paid transport will be subject to refusal.
No warranty will be recognised in the following cases:
The product has not been used or installed in compliance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
The product has been modified or tampered with.
The return of merchandise, new and still in production, can be accepted only with prepaid trans-
port and with prior written NALA MOTORS authorization.
