CBC-CLASS 1/2 Master Control PN 50685:C 7/09/98
The CBC-Master Control modules are:
• Chicago Building Code / Source-of-Energy Module.
• Chicago Building Code / Bell Supervision Modules (CBC-BSM). One
supervises the remote system trouble bell. The other supervises the City Tie
Disconnect Bell. Both can be mounted remotely.
• Chicago Building Code / City Tie Disconnect Module.
Module energy information/specifications:
• Source of Energy Module - The alarm and trouble relays are capable of
withstanding a resistive load of 5A at 25V.
• CBC-BSM - Lamp power requirements are 24VDC, 60 mA. The bell power
requirements are 24VDC, with current dependent upon the make and model of
the bell.
• City Tie Disconnect Module - Lamp power requirements are 24VDC, 60 mA.
The Module Descriptions section of this manual describes these modules in more detail.
Compatibility
The CBC-Master Control can be used in conjunction with the following NOTIFIER®
fire panels:
• System 5000 Fire Control Panel
• AFP-200 Analog Fire Panel
• AFP-400 Analog Fire Panel
• AM-2020/AFP-1010 Fire Panel
Dimensions
The cabinet consists of a backbox with a locking door and two keys. The door is hinged
on the left. The CBC-BSM remote mounting consists of a faceplate to be attached to a
double-gang box. See Figure 2 below for dimensions.
