1  General Description

The Chicago Building Code Class I / Class II Master Control (CBC-CLASS 1/2) was
designed to comply with non high-rise Class I and Class II type building requirements
of the city of Chicago, Illinois.  It supplies the fire alarm control panel with two AC

following functions from a remote location:

•  silencing the system trouble bell and the city tie disconnect bell
•  disconnecting the municipal tie fire alarm box

The CBC-Master Control consists of four modules.  It can be ordered with all the
modules ready-mounted in a metal cabinet (Figure 1).  The System Trouble and/or City
Tie Disconnect Bell Supervision Modules can also be ordered separately for remote
mounting.

The following equipment is required for use with the CBC-CLASS 1/2 to comply
