Recommended Floor Surfaces
This product can be used for cleaning floor surfaces such as sealed
wooden floors, ceramic tiles, granite and marble flooring, including some
types of carpet. If you are unsure, test a section of the flooring material in
an out-of-sight area first.
NOTE
: This steam mop should not be used on surfaces with soft or heat
sensitive coatings like wax, enamels or oils, etc.
IMPORTANT
: Do not use on unsealed hardwood or unglazed ceramic
surfaces.
Surfaces that are not properly sealed may be warped or damaged by
exposure to heat and moisture.
Care should also be taken when steaming sealed hardwood floors, as
prolonged exposure to steam in single spot may cause damage and
discoloration.
To avoid this, keep the Steam Mop in constant motion on these surfaces,
and place it back on the Resting pad when idle.
Extremely rough textured floors may tear or damage the Microfibre pads.
10 Storage
Preparing your Steam Mop for storage is quick and simple. When you have
finished your mopping tasks, follow the steps listed below.
1. Gently press down on the On/Off Switch until it clicks – The Red Power
indicator Light will turn off. Unplug the power cord from electrical power
outlet.
2. Place the Mop Head on top of the Resting pad, and allow the unit to
cool for at least 30 minutes for complete cooling.
3. For convenience you may disconnect the Telescopic Tube, and if
attached, remove the Microfibre Pad from the Mop Head.
