Before using synchronization
Once you have finished all connections and
settings, you must:
1 Put all components into standby mode.
2 Turn the power on for all components,
with the power for the flat panel TV being
turned on last.
3 Choose the HDMI input to which the TV is
connected to this receiver, and see if video
output from connected components displays
properly on the screen or not.
4 Check whether the components
connected to all HDMI inputs are properly
displayed.
Synchronized amp mode
The synch r onized am p mode can be set f r om
the KURO LINK-com p atible TV’s r emote
cont r ol. See the ex p lanation below fo r
o p e r ations in the synch r onized am p mode.
These functions a r e set f r om the TV’s menu
sc r een. Fo r mo r e info r mation, r efe r to the
o p e r ating inst r uctions of the KURO LINK-
com p atible TV.
Synchronized amp mode operations
When using the synch r onized am p mode, the
KURO LINK-com p atible com p onent
connected to the r eceive r o p e r ates in sync as
desc r ibed below.
• The r eceive r ’s volume can be set and the
sound can be muted using the TV’s r emote
cont r ol.
• When the TV’s p owe r is set to standby, the
r eceive r ’s p owe r is also set to standby.
(Only when the in p ut fo r a com p onent
connected to the r eceive r by HDMI
connection is selected o r when watching
the TV)
• The r eceive r ’s in p ut switches automatically
when the KURO LINK-com p atible
com p onent is p layed.
• The r eceive r ’s in p ut switches automatically
when the TV’s channel is switched.
• The synch r onized am p mode r emains in
effect even if the r eceive r ’s in p ut is
switched to a com p onent othe r than one
connected by HDMI.
The o p e r ations below can also be used on
Pionee r KURO LINK-com p atible flat p anel TVs.
• When the r eceive r ’s volume is adjusted o r
the sound is muted, the volume status is
dis
p layed on the flat p anel TV’s sc r een.
• When the OSD language is switched on
the flat p anel TV, the r eceive r ’s language
setting also switches acco r dingly.
Canceling synchronized amp mode
• When the synch r onized am p mode is
canceled, the r eceive r ’s p owe r tu r ns off if
you we r e viewing an HDMI in p ut o r a TV
pr og r am on the TV.
• When in the synch r onized am p mode, the
synch r onized am p mode is canceled when
the r eceive r ’s p owe r is tu r ned off. To tu r n
the synch r onized am p mode back on,
select the synch r onized am p mode using
the TV’s r emote cont r ol.
• When in the synch r onized am p mode, the
synch r onized am p mode is canceled if an
o p e r ation that pr oduces sound f r om the TV
is p e r fo r med f r om the TV’s menu sc r een,
etc.
