The image on the screen changes as you choose the number of channels in "Speaker
Channels", so refer to it when performing the settings.
Use this screen to select whether you have connected a subwoofer and to select the
type of height speaker, etc.
•
If you have connected a subwoofer, check the power and volume of the subwoofer.
Set the subwoofer volume to more than halfway.
"Symmetry" is a type of calibration that emphasizes phase characteristics. "All Channel
Adjust" emphasizes frequency characteristics. "Front Align" calibrates to emphasize
the characteristics of the front speakers. The initial setting is "Symmetry". To save the
measurement results of other calibration types, select from "M1.Memory 1" to "M3.
Memory 3". If multiple calibration types are selected, you can select the calibration type
to use in "AV Adjust" - "MCACC" - "MCACC Memory". Note that you cannot select the
same save destination for different calibration types.

After making the above settings, press ENTER.
3. Test tones are emitted by the speakers, and firstly the unit detects the speakers
connected and the noise in the environment.
•
If "Reverse Phase" is displayed, check whether you have connected the poles of the
speakers (+ / –) in reverse. Even if the connections are correct, "Reverse Phase"
may be displayed due to the speakers or the environment surrounding the speakers,
but this will not affect the calibration so you can proceed to the next step.
4. After the results of the above measurements are displayed, select "Next", press ENTER
on the remote controller, and the test tones are emitted again, and the unit automatically
makes settings such as the optimum volume level and the crossover frequency.
5. Calibration finishes, so when "Please unplug setup microphone." is displayed,
disconnect the speaker setup microphone. You cannot use any menu options other than
MCACC Pro while it is connected.
