Bi-Amp
No
Set whether the speakers are bi-amp connected.
"No": When speakers are not bi-amp connected to
any speaker terminals
"Front": When using bi-amp connection for the front
speakers only
"Front / Center": When using bi-amp connection
for the front speakers and the center speaker. This
can only be selected when you have set "Speaker
Channels" to "3.1 ch" or "5.1 ch".
"Front / Surround": When using bi-amp connection
for the front speakers and the surround speakers.
This can only be selected when you have set
"Speaker Channels" to "4.1 ch" or "5.1 ch".
"Center / Surround": When using bi-amp
connection for the center speaker and the surround
speakers. This can only be selected when you
have set "Speaker Channels" to "5.1 ch".
"Front / Center / Surround": When using bi-amp
connection for the front speakers, the center
speaker, and the surround speakers. This can
only be selected when you have set "Speaker
Channels" to "5.1 ch".

This item will be set to "No" when using ZONE
3 or Speakers B, or when two sets of height
speakers are being used. This item will also be
set to "No" when height speakers and ZONE
speakers are being used at the same time.

You cannot select a setting other than "No" or
"Front" when using ZONE speakers.

Small
Set the low range capabilities for each channel by
setting either small or large.
"Small": For small speakers whose low range
capabilities may be limited
"Large": For full-range speakers with sufficient low
range capabilities

If "System Setup" - "Speaker" - "Configuration"
- "Subwoofer" is set to "No", "Front" will be
fixed to "Large" and the low pitched range of
the other channels will be output from the front
speakers. Refer to the instruction manual of
your speakers to make the setting.
Center
Small
Set the low range capabilities for each channel by
setting either small or large.
"Small": For small speakers whose low range
capabilities may be limited
"Large": For full-range speakers with sufficient low
range capabilities

When "Front" is set to "Small", this is set to
"Small".

If an item cannot be selected even though
connection is correct, check that the settings in
"System Setup" - "Speaker" - "Configuration"
- "Speaker Channels" matches the number of
connected channels.
