Function display
Shows the function status.
1 Press Multi-Control to display the main
menu.
FUNCTION
and
AUDIO
appear on the display.
2 Use Multi-Control to select FUNCTION.
Turn to change the menu option; press to se-
lect.
The function name appears on the display.
3 Turn Multi-Control to select the func-
tion.

To return to the playback display, press

When playing audio data (CD-DA), tag display
is not effective even if you turn
Tag Read
(tag
display) on. (Refer to page 32.)

If you do not operate the function within about
30 seconds, the display is automatically re-
turned to the playback display.
Repeating play
Repeat play lets you hear the same track over
again.
1 Use Multi-Control to select Repeat.
Repeat
appears in the display.
2 Press Multi-Control to turn repeat play
on.
Repeat :ON
appears in the display. The track
currently playing will play to the end and then
repeat.

To turn repeat play off, press
Multi-Control
again.
Note
If you perform track search or fast forward/re-
verse, repeat play is automatically cancelled.
Playing tracks in a random
order
Random play lets you play back tracks on the
CD in a random order.
1 Use Multi-Control to select Random.
Random
appears in the display.
2 Press Multi-Control to turn random
play on.
Random :ON
appears in the display. Tracks
will play in a random order.

To turn random play off, press
Multi-Control
again.
