Energy-Saving Design
This product has been designed to reduce energy
consumption when the unit is in the power off
(standby) mode.
¶
Consult the Specifications (P. 54) for the power
consumption in standby mode.

STANDBY/ON button and standby
indicator
This is the power switch.
ON
: When set to the ON position, power is sup-
plied and the unit becomes operational.
STANDBY : When set to the STANDBY position, the
main power flow is cut and the unit is no
longer fully operational. A minute flow of
power feeds the unit to maintain operation
readiness.
NOTE:
When the Stereo Cassette Deck CT-IS21 is connected to
the XC-IS21MD or XC-IS21T via the system cable, the
unit’s power will be switched on/off (standby) automati-
cally by operating the STANDBY/ON button of either of
the connected units.

Touche et voyant d’attente/mise sous
tension (STANDBY/ON)
Cette touche commande l’alimentation électrique:
ON
: A la position ON, le courant électrique est
fourni et l’appareil peut fonctionner.
STANDBY : A la position STANDBY, l’alimentation
électrique est coupée et l’appareil n’est plus
opérationnel. Cependant, un faible courant
continue de passer pour le maintenir prêt à
fonctionner.
REMARQUE:
Lorsque la Platine cassette stéréo CT-IS21 est raccordée
au XC-IS21MD ou au XC-IS21T par le câble de système,
sa mise sous/hors tension (attente) sera commandée
automatiquement par la touche STANDBY/ON de l’un
ou l’autre des appareils raccordés.
