Hub oil level (03_05)
Check the oil in the rear hub. To check the rear hub oil level, proceed as follows:
1
. Rest the vehicle onto its centre stand, on level ground.

. Unscrew the screw «
A
» and if oil comes out or touches the screw hole the level is
correct. Otherwise, top up the oil.
3
. Screw the screw back in, checking that it is locked in place.
CAUTION
RIDING THE VEHICLE WITH INSUFFICIENT HUB LUBRICATION OR WITH CON-
TAMINATED OR IMPROPER LUBRICANTS ACCELERATES THE WEAR AND
TEAR OF THE MOVING PARTS AND CAN CAUSE SERIOUS DAMAGE.
CAUTION
USED OIL CAN HARM THE ENVIRONMENT. COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL
SHOULD BE CARRIED OUT IN COMPLIANCE WITH REGULATIONS IN FORCE.
CAUTION
UPON REPLACING HUB OIL, AVOID THE OIL COMING INTO CONTACT WITH
THE REAR WHEEL AND TYRE.
