- Refit the clutch assembly following the fitting op-
eration but in reverse order and using the calliper
spanner. Lock the nut to the specified torque.
CAUTION
USE A BOX-SPANNER WITH SMALL CHAMFER SO AS
NOT TO DAMAGE THE CLUTCH NUT.UPON FITTING THE
CLUTCH ASSEMBLY LOCK NUT, PAY ATTENTION TO
KEEP THE ASSEMBLY IN ITS SEAT UNTIL SOME NUT
THREADS HOLD IT IN PLACE

55 ÷ 60 Nm
Refitting the driven pulley
- Reassemble the clutch bell and spacer.
Drive-belt
During the wear checks foreseen in the scheduled
maintenance services at 6,000 km; 18,000 km;
etc., check that the rim bottom of the toothing does
not show signs of incisions or cracking (see figure):
The rim bottom of the tooth must not have incisions
or cracking; if it does, change the belt.
- Check that the driving belt is not damaged.
- Check the width of the belt.
