Plug P2 is the single DB-9M connector. P2 is connected to the CAN interface of the phyCORE-i.MX31 via 
jumpers. Controller Area Network (CAN) is a broadcast, differential serial bus standard, for connecting 
electronic control units and was specifically designed to be robust in electromagnetically noisy
