Frozen shoulder
Definition:
Shoulder pain accompanied by limitation of movement
Goal of
treatment:
Freedom from pain, stimulation of perfusion, full joint movement
Favourable
combinations:
Ultrasonic therapy, electrotherapy (combined therapy), exercise. In case of acute
pain, cryotherapy and immobilization with slight abduction is favourable.
Heat therapy – short-wave (not in acute phase)
