2.2 Examples of topologies with INTERBUS
The Inline controller (ILC 330 ETH / ILC 350 ETH / ILC 350 ETH/M) can be used as a
distributed controller of an Inline station which is connected to an Ethernet system. A single
Inline local bus (Figure 2-1) as well as a complete INTERBUS system with maximum
configuration as a remote bus (Figure 2-2) can be connected to the Inline controller.
Only Inline terminals that meet the necessary requirements of the classification societies for
maritime applications may be used in an Inline station that meets the requirements of the
classification societies for maritime applications. The corresponding approval mark is
printed on approved terminals. For additional information on approved terminals, visit
