Menu Command Function
File New Creates a new project.
Open Opens an existing project from the file
system.
Save Stores the currently active project in the file
system.
Save as Asks for a new name of the currently active
project and stores it in the file system.
Import GSD Open a “Browses” dialog box to select and
import GSD files to the current project.
Export GSDML Creates a GSDML file from the current
project data.
Last Files List containing the most recently accessed
projects.
Exit Quit the application.
View Symbol bar Shows/hides the “Tool” bar.
Status bar Shows/hides the “Status” bar.
Module catalog Shows/hides the window containing the
available expansion modules. Not applicable
to the GW PN/DP 1E/1DB9.
Large icons Presents large icons for the imported
PROFIBUS DP slave device GSDs.
Small icons Presents small icons for the imported
PROFIBUS DP slave devices GSDs.
List Presents the imported PROFIBUS DP slave
device GSDs in a simple list.
Details Presents the imported PROFIBUS DP slave
device GSDs with detailed information.
Language German Sets the interface to display in German.
English Sets the interface to display in English.
? Info about GSDMLgen Displays information about the GSDML
Creation Tool.
