Make sure the interface is recognized.

Use the network control panel to configure and display network
interface information. Make sure the P430 or PhobosLink driver is
displayed in the Bindings window.

From a DOS Prompt, type ‘ipconfig’ to display the protocol infor-
mation. You should see something like this:
